Q: Can I make changes to the design?
A: For minor changes, yes. Note any design changes. If requested changes require a new price, we will contact you.
Q: Can I get multiple flavors in the cake?
A: We can accommodate some flavor requests. Please contact us to order. Additional cost applies.
Q: Can you decorate with whipped cream?
A: Whipped cream is too soft for us to decorate with, so buttercream is used.
Q: Can I add color to whipped cream or buttercream?
A: We spray color on whipped cream cakes. We mix color into buttercream decorations. We cannot mix color into whipped cream. Dark colors do fade and seep into the cream over time.
Q: Are all cakes available for pick up in Monterey?
A: All except Full Sheet cakes. Full Sheets are only available for pick up in Watsonville.
Q: Do I need to refrigerate the cake?
A: Whipped cream cakes should be refrigerated and served cold. Buttercream cakes are best served at room temperature. Refrigerate overnight.
Q: What is the Shelf Life of the Cakes?
A: Our cake is best enjoyed for same day pick ups. If you are serving for the next day, please inquire for tips. Refrigerate all cakes if not served the same day.
Q: Do you offer cakes with special dietary alternatives?
A: We offer Gluten Free Chiffon Cakes if decoration accommodates. We do not offer sugar free or dairy free products.
Q: What image do I need to send for photo cakes?
A: Any high-res photo will work. PLEASE do not send a screenshot of the image if you are sending from your phone.

A: Yes. We print directly on a single cake layer and lay it on top of the whole cake. This gives the cake more dimension and looks better.
Q: Can we add buttercream decorations on photo cakes?
A: Yes. We can add additional decorations to 1/2 and Full Sheet cakes. Space is limited for 1/8 and 1/4, so there is not a lot of room for additional decoration.
Q: Can I order heart and round photo cakes?
A: Not online. Please email your custom photo to sales@freedombakery.com for heart and round photo cakes. Depending on your photo and how it fits into the heart and round forms, we can take the order manually.
